USS Arizona

Another absolute must for us while we were in Hawaii was a visit to the USS Arizona. I was impressed by the production they put together for the trip. First, a volunteer talks about what happened during the bombing of Pearl Harbor, then they have a really nice documentary film, and then they ferry you out to the memorial. The only problem was that they allow only a very limited time at the memorial before they insist you get back on the boat to go back to shore. While I'm sure that their time limit is enough for most people, it makes it a little weird at the end as they hurry the straglers back onto the ferry. Anyway, here are some pictures.
