The Wedding

Our last day in Hawaii was the day of my cousin's wedding. They had it near where we're staying, outside, of course:

It was a really lovely, small wedding. The service itself was very scenic. Here's the bride and groom:

And some of the guests:

And a little more scenery:

I think everyone had a very good time, and it was an excellent way to end the week.
The next morning, we were back on a plane home. This time the date line made us arrive on a Monday night even though we left Sunday morning. Weird again. The trip back reconfirmed my belief that Japanese people are the nicest ever. In Tokyo, the woman checking us in arranged for special treatment to accomodate both Zack's leg and my pregnancy. While everyone else squished into buses with standing room only to get to the airplane that would take us to Fukuoka, Zack and I got into our own private bus that actually rose up to the plane so Zack wouldn't have to take the stairs up to the plane. On the flight, they gave us a cute little baby toy, and when we landed, we were met by another airline attendant who escorted us to the baggage claim and did all our heavy lifting for us, and then pushed the bags out to the bus that was waiting to take us to Sasebo. It was really nice. So while Hawaii was really awesome and it was great to see all the family again, it was also good to be back in Japan.
And now back to our regularly scheduled Japan updates...
